A luxurious private space surrounded by fragrant cypress wood.
Stone is used for some of the walls , and the radiant heat slowly warms the body to the core.
A tower stove manufactured by HARVIA is used as the heat source.
During the sauna, a strong steam fills the sauna room with a sizzling sound.
And beyond the small window, the mountain ridge and the sky spread out like a single picture.

The water used in the water bath is water from Takayama Village.
The water of this land is reputed locally to be "just delicious.
The water is drawn from a pure water source that flows through a mountain village.
The water is soft and mellow in the mouth and on the skin.
The water temperature is cool but gentle.

How to enjoy sauna
How to enter and condition sauna
The sauna in the sky is a space where you can "totono" at your own pace.
The recommended way in is the following three steps:
Warm up slowly in the sauna room (8-12 minutes)
Cold water bath to firm up the body (30 seconds to 1 minute)
Breathe deeply while looking up at the sky in the outdoor air-bath space (5-10 minutes)
By repeating this slowly for two to three sets,
the body and mind will loosen up, and you will be led to a deep state of relaxation where you will feel "Ah, I'm alive...".
No need to worry about other users.
Just spend some time concentrating on your senses to your heart's content!
Outside air bathing area and starry sky experience
The feeling of "nothingness" that comes after a sauna.
You can experience this to the fullest in the open-air bathing area of the sauna in the sky.

Each session lasts 120 minutes and is yours to use as your own private space.
There are two ways to use this service

Day-trippers : A private day-trip is available for 19,800 yen per couple (tax included) and up.
You can casually enjoy an "extraordinary experience" with your loved ones.
Available at any time of the day, including blue sky in the afternoon, sunset, and starry sky.
*Advance reservations are recommended as popular times tend to fill up.
