Forest Sauna + Hot Spring Plan

You can stay from 9:20 to 17:50!
You can stay in the sauna in the forest, take a bath, and take a rest in the rest room.
Sauna → nap after taking a bath → drink → tour of outside baths...etc. You can spend your time as you like.
During your stay, you can also visit a ranch and Thunder Falls, a 15-minute drive from Matsukawa-kan.
The sauna at Matsukawa-kan is a style where you wear a bathing suit and enter together.
You can experience sauna together with your partner or children, even though they are usually separated.
We have two saunas: an ultra-high temperature sauna and an herbal sauna scented with herbs and birch from Shinshu!
If you like sauna, go to the ultra-high temperature sauna.
If you want to enjoy nature slowly as well, please enjoy the herbal sauna.

Matsukawakan Onsen
Matsukawa-kan's indoor baths are also available for day-trip guests.
The soft source of Yamada Onsen hot spring water warms the body to the core.
Natural light pours into the bathrooms, creating a tranquil atmosphere that makes you forget about everyday life.
Although it does not have the facilities of a super public bath,
it offers the "genuine tranquility" and "comfort of a hot-spring cure" that can only be experienced in a ryokan.
Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and surrender yourself to the simple scent of wood and the warmth of the hot water.
Tour of out-spa baths to feel the atmosphere of Yamada Onsen
Oyu (Outside hot spring) 1｜Oyu
This is the central hot spring of Yamada Onsen, which has been in use since the Edo period (1603-1868).
It is an out-spa with a long history and has been familiar to the locals for many years.
Although it is a simple structure, you can feel the softness and warmth of the spring water.
Sotoyu②｜Takinoyu
A local public bathhouse open only to guests of Matsukawa-kan and local residents.
The simple and unpretentious atmosphere, which is not for tourists, is the charm of this bathhouse.
You can stop by and take a dip in the bathtub and enjoy the time between the ordinary and the extraordinary.
Take a rest at Ryokan
We also have a rest area where guests on a one-day plan can sleep in
between 9:20am and 5:50pm.
You can sleep, read or
work as there is a power supply.
Please enjoy it in your own way.

The "Sauna in the Sky" at Matsukawa-kan is a completely private sauna that can be experienced on day trips.

A Halvia tower stove is used in the room.
