Thank you sincerely for your continued care and interest in Matsukawakan.

We are writing to report that Matsukawakan has renewed its former management structure, and that the business has been succeeded by a new company.

The company taking on the succession and the new operation of the inn is One Ism Inc., led by me, Yuya Ohashi, and until now a supporter of Matsukawakan from the outside.

I myself have been involved with Matsukawakan for about 7 years, going all the way back to my university days. The magnificent onsen water that springs from this land, and the warmth of the people of this district, are things I have felt on my own skin more closely than anyone.

That is exactly why I cannot let this remarkable place disappear. I want to keep conveying its worth to you for years to come. With that single thought, I resolved to take on the business myself and to take up the challenge.

Let me be honest with you. Matsukawakan today has aged badly, and to put it plainly, the building is in a battered state. The onsen piping, rain coming in through the ceiling, and many other places still need repair. Rebuilding this inn is a hard road.

Even so, construction and inspection work on the facilities is under way right now, at full speed.

The date on which we reopen has not been fixed yet. As soon as it is decided, we will announce it first on this page and on our official LINE account.

So that we can be certain of welcoming you back to this place once again, the whole team is preparing with everything we have.

And the greatest relief of all is that the outstanding staff who supported Matsukawakan on the front line in the days of the former operating company, and who have always held our guests dear, share this resolve and have chosen to stay. Together with these dependable colleagues, we will be reborn as the finest team, one that can give you even greater pleasure than before.

Please note that from now on our company, which has taken on the business, is the point of contact for everything concerning Matsukawakan. Please rest assured. We have also taken over every message you have sent us so far, and we are preparing our replies in order. We will reply to each and every one of you without fail, so we ask for a little more of your patience.
